IM Trip Module
Trip module that multiplies fast trip contacts in an arc protection system.
The IM trip module is used as a fast contact multiplier in an arc protection system. When the output of a ZELK-2 or ZELK-3 protection device must operate several incoming energy paths, IM enables simultaneous operation of up to five breakers in the switchgear installation.
-
Up to 5 trip elements
Version with 2 to 5 static trip elements for operating multiple breakers.
-
No auxiliary supply
The IM module does not require a separate auxiliary power supply.
-
Galvanically isolated outputs
Trip elements are galvanically isolated from the ZELK input and from each other.
-
AC/DC trip circuits
Breaker trip circuits can be supplied by DC or AC voltage.
-
Sub-1 ms operation with ZELK
The operating delay of the IM + ZELK combination is below 1 ms.
