Directional fault indicator for detection, indication and recording of earth and short-circuit faults in MV overhead networks.
The IK-20 fault indicator uses NS-20 voltage sensors and SS-30 current sensors for local and remote fault detection in MV overhead networks. The device indicates fault type and direction on LCD and LED displays and can send data to the control centre via GSM/GPRS, radio modem or DT-20RN remote terminal.
Supports ANSI functions 50, 51, 67, 50N, 51N and 67N, plus transient analysis for directional earth-fault detection.
Works with NS-20 capacitive voltage sensors and SS-30 inductive current sensors mounted on the disconnector.
Fault type and direction are indicated locally on LCD/LED displays and relay outputs and remotely through the communication system.
Combined with UST-10Gc, it enables automatic network sectioning and selective fault isolation during the dead time.
Pickup currents, reset mode and time, and operating times are configured via LCD and keypad or by notebook computer.
