Single-feeder fault indicator for local and remote fault supervision in MV cable and overhead networks.

The IK-10/1 fault indicator is installed in one feeder bay of MV switchgear. Using SS-10 and SS-20 current sensors it detects earth and short-circuit faults, signals them locally by LEDs or SL-10 signal lamp, and can connect to UST-10Gc or a control centre.

Single-feeder unit

Designed for one feeder bay with a local panel and 3(4) fault detectors per feeder.
SS-10 and SS-20 sensors

For earth-fault currents from 20 A three SS-10 sensors are used, while for 5 A sensitivity an SS-20 sensor surrounds all three cables.
ANSI 50/51 and 50N/51N

Pickup currents and detection times are configurable for short-circuit and earth-fault functions.
DIP or IK Dialog

Parameterization is performed by DIP switches under the front panel or with IK Dialog software.
Supervisory communication

Can operate as a local unit or connect via RS485, fibre optic links and standard protocols to a SCADA system.
