SS Probe Switch
Optical probe switch for selective arc protection in switchgear installations with double busbars.
The SS probe switch is used in arc protection systems for switchgear installations with double busbars. It enables protection selectivity by section when an arc appears in the breaker compartment, so only the busbar connected to the faulty switchgear cubicle is tripped.
-
For double busbars
Designed for switchgear where probes must be selectively assigned to a specific busbar.
-
Two probe pairs
Switches two pairs of OS optical probes to two ZELK-3 devices.
-
Disconnector-contact control
Auxiliary voltage through the disconnector contact determines which probes are connected to the switch output.
-
No separate supply
The switch requires no separate supply beyond its control inputs.
-
