OS Optical Probe
Optical probe for detecting electric arcs in ZELK-2 and ZELK-3 systems.
The OS optical probe is used in an arc protection system as the optical arc detector. Its integrated cable connects directly to the input terminals of ZELK-2 or ZELK-3, or to an auxiliary terminal block when a larger number of probes is used with ZELK-3.

Optical arc detection
The probe detects the light produced by an electric arc in the protected switchgear compartment.

Direct connection
The integrated cable connects to the terminal blocks of ZELK-2/ZELK-3 devices.

Cable up to 20 m
Connection cable length is adapted to user needs from 2 to 20 m.

Spectral sensitivity
The probe spectral sensitivity is 450-1100 nm.

The very small construction enables simple mounting inside the switchgear cubicle.
