Measuring terminal for measurement, monitoring, recording and analysis of power quality in the most demanding generation, distribution and transmission systems.
The MT-40 measuring terminal is designed for measurement, monitoring, recording and analysis of electrical quantities in the most demanding generation, distribution and transmission systems. Fast sampling computes true RMS currents, voltages, powers, energies, power factor and frequency, and analyses power quality per EN 50160 and IEC 61000-4-30 Class A (Ed.2 and Ed.3); it offers local EN 50160 display and remote monitoring via a built-in Web server.
Analysis per EN 50160 and IEC 61000-4-30 Class A (Ed.2 & Ed.3): harmonics up to the 50th/63rd, THD, voltage dips and swells, RVC, flicker, transients and unbalance; local EN 50160 display on the device.
True RMS measurement of currents, voltages, frequency, power and power factor; extended frequency range 2–150 kHz.
Active and reactive energy (EP, EQ) metering by tariff, plus peak, average and minimum values with time stamping.
Flexible recording with storage on an SD card up to 32 GB; reports available by e-mail (.gif, .csv).
10/100 Ethernet, two RS-232/RS-485 ports (optional optical) and a built-in Web server; MODBUS RTU/TCP, IEC 60870-5-101/103/104, IEC 61850 (option), FTP(S)/HTTP(S).
4(8) digital inputs and 4 digital outputs, 4 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs, plus 2 inputs for temperature and humidity measurement (STH-3 sensor).
