MT-5 Measuring Terminal

Compact measuring terminal for metering, monitoring and analysis of electrical quantities in LV installations with very limited space.

The MT-5 measuring terminal is intended for metering, monitoring and analysis of electrical quantities in LV installations with very limited installation space, such as switchgear groups. The device replaces more than 30 conventional meters and transducers, and supports voltage and current distortion analysis including THD and individual harmonics.

  • Compact format

Very small dimensions with 72 x 72 mm panel mounting according to DIN 43700 for space-constrained applications.

  • True RMS measurement

True RMS voltage and current measurement with 0.2% accuracy, and P, Q, S power measurement with 0.4% accuracy.

  • Power quality insight

Measurement of unbalance, THD and current/voltage harmonics up to the 31st harmonic.

  • Time-stamped recording

Built-in memory and real-time clock for recording peak, average and minimum values of currents, voltages, powers and energies.

  • Tariff-based energy recording

Active and reactive energy recording by tariffs (up to two tariffs) and total, with software-defined time intervals.

  • Communication and service access

RS485, optical and Ethernet communication, plus local front-side readout via mini USB connector.
