Compact 48 V DC or 24 V DC uninterruptible supply unit for relays, breaker trips and measurement, protection, communication and supervision equipment.
The BN-5 supply unit provides uninterrupted supply for the VR-50 voltage relay, breaker trip coils or other measurement, protection, communication, supervision and control equipment. It combines a high-frequency rectifier/battery charger, a VRLA battery and a 12/48(24) V DC/DC converter.

The DC/DC converter raises the battery voltage to the level required by the connected equipment.

Integrated battery protection
Undervoltage protection disconnects the battery at the safety threshold and prevents deep discharge.
